  • Work with Schools: Calder High School Performances x 3 - 10-5-10 minutes each

In 2010, Gillie Kerrod from the Calderdale Theatre School worked with school staff and 51 Year 11 Expressive Arts Calder High School students, who used transcripts from the Wild Rose Heritage and Arts collection to produce their own performances for their Exam. Some were traditional interpretations, while others used more modern settings and language to convey their ideas and feelings. Here you will find audio excerpts from the performances. The full performances were exam pieces and confidential to individual students. Our excerpts were for a public performance attended by the Hebden Royd Mayor, the interviewees whose texts were used, parents and staff from the school and the general public.
